Troop-
Our 7:30pm Troop Meeting this Thursday at Grace will feature several guests from our Pathway to Adventure Council Order of the Arrow Takhone Lodge.

Q: What is the Order of the Arrow?
A: For over 100 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others. OA service, activities, adventures, and training for youth and adults are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich and help to extend Scouting to America's youth.
Our friends from the Takhone Lodge will offer a presentation on the OA followed by a membership election, voted by Troop 66 Scouts. OA-Eligible Scouts include Jonathan Zeh, Aydin Curtis, Matthew Busa and Jack Morowczynski. Election and membership is voluntary and represents an opportunity for Scouts to enrich their time and service beyond our Troop 66. I hope you'll all join on Thursday night to learn more and consider your OA membership now or in the future. Order of the Arrow Election Results
Congratulations to our Scouts who've been elected by their Troop as candidates for induction to the Order of the Arrow, who are are now eligible to complete their Ordeal for full membership in the Takhone Lodge. Congratulations Scouts!
P.S.- One last reminder to consider attending the Merit Badge University on February 24th at York High School, a great opportunity to fill your day with fascinating stuff!
P.S.S.- The Troop calendar has been updated with all scheduled 2024 events.
